Liverpool stuns Man City 3-2 with incredible comeback

Liverpool defeated Man City 3-2 today at Eastlands after overcoming a two goal deficit at the half. Man City took what a appeared to be commanding 2-0 lead with Stephen Ireland poaching a goal at the ninetieth minute and then doubling the margin four minutes before the break with Javier Garrido's strike.

Liverpool stormed back into the match with Fernando Torres drawing one back ten minutes after the break. Man City's efforts was put to the test as they played a man down after Pablo Zabaleta was excused with his second yellow card at the sixty-seven minutes into the match. Seizing upon the advantage, Fernando Torres found the leveler at the seventy-third minute. Clearly in control of the match in the final thirty minutes, Liverpool went on the hunt for the winning strike and found it in added-time when Dirk Kuyt pounced on a loose ball in-close and made no mistakes sending it to the back of the net.
