Martin Petrov out for four months
Man City revealed today that Martin Petrov’s knee injury, sustained while on international duty for his native Bulgaria, will be out for four months with a torn meniscus cartilage. Presumably the extent of the tear is beyond the ability to be repaired via arthroscopic surgery although the club, as per usual, is unable to provide medical information or on-site treatment of the issue. The loss of Martin Petrov is a difficult loss for the club however amongst the old and even new fans, ask the club with their new found well to actually set-up first rate medical and rehabilitation services. As of this date and including their new facility, they fall far-short of the grade at many top clubs around the globe.
