Martin Petrov surgery confirmed

In a very short statement, the club has announced that Martin Petrov has had surgery on his left knee to repair damage to the meniscus and is expected to miss three to four months. The club did not release information on the extent of the injury or where the surgery was performed but from the length of rehabilitation period noted it is assumed to be extensive damage. I have contacted the club for further details on the injury and should I be absolutely shocked with a release detailing actual medical information I will post it.
