Dinamo Bucureşti continued its drive towards the championship with a 1-0 victory over CFR Cluj.
After Marius Niculae was unable to convert from the spot at the fortieth minute the Roş-albii scored what turned out to be be the winning strike a minute before the break as long ball to the edge of the Cluj box saw Gabriel Boştină and defender Hugo Alcântara colliding and the ball coming to Ionel Dănciulescu. The Romanian international collected to the ball and after moving to his right sent the ball into the net past Nuno Claro. Tensions ran hot and the match concluded both Gabriel Tamaş şi Yssouf Koné received straight red-cards (cartonaşul roşu).
Dinamo returns to action on 5 May against Oţelul Galaţi whilst Cluj challenge Poli Timişoara the following day.
