In a match just concluded CSKA Moscow completely dominated Lokomotiv Moscow 2-0 in their Moscow derby.
The back-line that includes Russian capped Sergey Ignashevich, Aleksei Berezutskiy and Vasili Berezutskiy as well as a Lithuanian Deividas Šemberas shut-down the Lokomotiv assaults of Dmitri Torbinski and Diniyar Bilyaletdinov and keeping Igor Akinfeev run of eight clean sheets in a row.
Lokomotiv Moscow played most of the match done with Sergei Gurenko receiving two harsh yellow cards by the twelfth minute. Yuri Zhirkov dominated in the attacking, feeding eighteen year-old striker phenom Alan Dzagoev (who is in desperate need of a call-up Mr. Stukalov) for the first goal at the twenty-second minute, then scored himself midway of the second half.
It was a brilliant win for Koni as they push up the table and now face Luch-Energiya Vladivostok next week.
