Spartak Moscow v Dynamo Kyiv

After Spartak Moscow as devastated by Dynamo Kyiv 4-1 in the first leg of the series at home, the likihood of the Ukrainian team not advancing is very unlikely. To make matters worse for the Russian club, Spartak’s talismanic Roman Pavlyuchenko announcement to the media that he is heading to Tottenham of the English Premier Leauge and not making the trip to Kyiv, has further dampened Spartak incredibly slim chances of putting up four goals against Dynamo at Lobanovsky Dynamo Stadium. However this is a great rivalry and while the eventual outcome of the qualifier is a foregone conclusion to most, it will be a heated battle between two great rivals.

I’ll provide a report on the match upon its conclusion.
