Pelé clears up scandal

After reports came out the Pelé had accused Robinho and Ronaldo of drug problems, the Rei do Futebol denied making such claims when speaking with media mogul TV Globo.

"What happened was a misunderstanding because I never said anything like that."

Explaining that the media fabricated the story he added:

I know what the people who need to sell newspapers are like. When there's a story like this you need to ask for the recording to hear what was really said."
