Paris Saint-Germain continued on championship run with a 1-0 defeat of Lorient on the strength of Ludovic Giuly's goal. With the victory les Rouge et Bleu are now only a single point behind Lyonnais and look ahead to next weeks match against l'OM with critical importance.Les Merlus trying to break off a terrible run of matches, came out fast and were close to taking the lead first with Marama Vahirua effort the rang off the cross bar and then Kevin Gameiro was denied by Mickaël Landreau in spectacular fashion.
