Les Rouge et Bleu welcome Le Havre

With les Rouge et Bleu UEFA Cup run concluded, their efforts are now focused in on the championnat. Given that both Toulouse and Lille lost this weekend, Paris Saint-Germain has a clear path to get back into a Europa League berth as Le Havre visits Parc des Princes late Sunday afternoon.

Parisian manager Paul Le Guen noted that his side cannot waste the chance to climb back into the European hunt:

"We’re favourites, it’s true, but Le Havre have just beaten Monaco 1-0. We are taking on the bottom club in the league, a team that haven’t won many matches, but now have nothing to lose. But we do have the chance to climb back up the table and we mustn’t waste it. Our main danger will come from our recent matches, and recovering from them has been my main preoccupation this week. Sunday is another Ligue 1 match that we have to win. I think we’re mature enough to respect our opponents."

On the injury front Grégory Bourillon will replace Sammy Traoré and both Mateja Kežman and Clément Chantôme will miss due to injury although they will be bolstered with Mamadou Sakho's return.

For those attending the match, expect a warm welcome Mickaël Landreau who after an extraordinary campaign had a very trying night in Kyiv. His poetic comments in France Football are regarding well by Parisians who will rally behind him.
