Schwarzgelben coach Jürgen Klopp said todays match against Arminia Bielefeld will be a “fight rather than a match.”
After watching the Bayer 04 Leverkusen match, in which they upset Werkself, he said:
“If you don´t go into this match with the right approach, you´re in trouble.”
“We are not going to Bielefeld as favorites. We are going there as a team who needs to fight to win!”
BVB are heading into the match without the services of Nelson Valdez and Sebastian Kehl and Jakub Blaszczykowski, Giovanni Federico, Marc Kruska and Patrick Owomoyela and are doubtful. The home side is equally strapped with injuries as Berat Sadik, Leonidas Kampantais, Rowen Fernandez, Radim Kucera and Thilo Versick all out for the match.
Die Schwarzgelben haven’t won in Bielefeld since and are expecting a voracious sell-out crowd urging the home side on.
