Craig Bellamy offer rejected

Per the BBC, Manchester City’s offer of £9m for West Ham’s Craig Bellamy has been rejected. The Wales capped striker has long since been coveted by Mark Hughes side but the offer was considerably less than the Hammers had suggested.

As per prior comments on the Citizens poor negotiation tactics, they have effectively played their cards and the market knows they are willing to bid up the price. Failing a club budging on their ask, Man City will need to likely need to wait to the closing days of the transfer window when clubs are more apt to move on prices or to chase prices up again.
