young Slovenia star Haris Vučkić commits to Newcastle

To call this campaign “trying” for Newcastle would be an understatement however if there is a bright spot it is without question the development of its younger players. To name only a few, the promise of Jonny Godsmark, Kazenga LuaLua, Nile Ranger, Ben Tozer and Tamás Kádár as well as emergence of David Edgar and Andy Carroll is nothing short of extraordinary and along with continued growth of Steven Taylor and Sébastien Bassong the Magpies have horded an exciting array of exciting young Footballers.

However in an stunning move, Newcastle have signed Haris Vučkić of NK Domžale to a long-term contract. At the age of sixteen he has starred for his homeland Slovenia and helped led them in the recent UEFA U17 Championships, while attracting the interest of many top tier clubs. While confirmed through an announcement with NK Domžale, Newcastle has yet to issue a formal statement that will provide terms of the deal.
