After three seasons with Tom Tomsk, veteran midfielder / defender Hrvoje Vejić has chosen not renew and return to Hajduk Split of Croatia's Prva HNL. Valeri Nepomniachi's was very complimentary of the Croatian international in leaving Tomsk and with management wishes him the best fortune.For Mr. Vejić this represents a return home as he was with Hajduk Split for four years prior to venturing north to Russia. Of the move to beautiful Split he said:
"Family reasons led me to sign for Hajduk. I wanted to return home because of my family and Hajduk was the best option. I left after winning two consecutive titles, I hope I will repeat that success."
