Verdict is on Markus Babbel

The Deutscher Fußball-Bund (DFB)has come down hard on Markus Babbel as they have ruled this is his final season coaching VfB before he completes his coaching certificates.

Despite support from his peers there appears to be no room for negotiation. Frank Wormuth, director of the DFB training programme for coaches told Der Tagesspeigel:

"We always said that when we gave Lothar special permission, that would be the last time. We have to draw a line somewhere and we have done that."
