Feyenoord's young guns continued to rumble as they came from behind to defeat ADO 3-1 to extend their unbeaten streak. ADO took the lead at de Kuip ten minutes into the match via a unfortunate defending error as Fabio Caracciolo's shot bounded off Henk Timmer's mitts to Richard Knopper, who then struck the ball into the net. Only six minutes later Dwight Tiendalli provided Roy Makaay the chance to level with a perfect cross into the box and the veteran didn't flinch to re-direct the leveling goal into the goal. With three minutes to the break, Tiendalli was once again at the start of attack. Feeding Makaay for a scoring attempt, his drive was pushed aside with eighteen year-old Leroy Fer scooping up the rebound and quickly giving Feyenoord the 2-1 lead. After the break, the home side buoyed with confidence prowled for another goal and only nine minutes after the re-start Georginio Wijnaldum's long pass found Makaay, who then sent a perfectly placed placed pass to Luigi Bruins who made no mistake to make it 3-1. ADO's chances were minimal and the home side cruised to a solid victory as snow flurries came down.
