Naval 1º Maio defeats Porto

Jesualdo Ferreira's Porto seems to be the place where dreams come true this campaign as week after week, they seem to dip to new lows. While the pre-match press conference noted improved level of concentration, like the previous loss to Leixões, Porto did not display intent or focus and loss 1-0 to Naval 1º Maio. Quite obviously Porto was unable to finish their attacks and Naval 1º Maio's defensive plan strangled all efforts. Nine minutes after the break Daniel Lopes Cruz scored the lone goal of the match to the delight of their home fans.

The loss sends to fifth-place in the table, although they could drop further with matches tomorrow and in the midst of a three-match losing streak including the Champions League. They return to the pitch on Wednesday against Dynamo Kyiv in the Champions League and need to address this seemingly lack of intent quickly or the Ukrainian squad will slice them apart.
