Marching on Together: Leeds v Colchester match preview

Leeds quest for promotion continues as they travel to face Colchester on Saturday afternoon. Buoyed with an eight match unbeaten streak, the Whites are making noise of squeezing out Peterborough United for an automatic promotion. A hearty challenge indeed given Posh is a full ten points above but Leeds will nonetheless need to continue with a rare win on the road if they are entertain such lofty visions.

Simon Grayson, in his customary non-disclosure fashion, has revealed virtually nothing of the upcoming match. However as we have come to know, he is unlikely to change his lineup and we should expect Jermaine Beckford to pair up-top with Luciano Becchio along with Fabian Delph, Jonny Howson and Robert Snodgrass in the midfield. Young Fabian has had a few ankle issues over the past week but with the race on, he is expected to give the nod. Sam Sodje, on-loan from Reading, will once again pair with Richard Naylor in the backline with a final decision to be made by the manager on the uses of Rui Marques, Andy Robinson, Andrew Hughes and Frazer Richardson who are all fully fit.

Andy Robinson told the Yorkshire Evening Post, "I think we're peaking at the right time" and if there are nick second-place, three points in Colchester is a must.
