Later today the UEFA Cup continues with three matches including Romanian clubs:
NEC Nijmegen - Dinamo Bucureşti
Liga leaders lost the opening match 1-0 to the Eredivisie but 'Câinii Roşii have yet to lose at home and only allowed one goal in four matches. Marius Niculae, Florin Bratu and Ionel Dãnciulescu are prepared to push Dinamo to the next round and you can expect the faithful to provide strong support
Hamburg - Unirea Voluntari Urziceni
Following the first leg of the Unirea Voluntari Urziceni - Hamburg UEFA Cup series which ended in a scoreless draw, the series returns to Urziceni for the deciding match tonight. Tactically Urziceni’s manager, Dan Petrescu led the club perfectly in the opening match and have turned the tie in their advantage. Since facing the Romanian club, Hamburg were run ragged by Wolfsburg losing 3-0 but have defeated VfL Bochum and Borussia Mönchengladbach in successive matches. Unirea Voluntari Urziceni are going full throttle in Liga 1, one point behind Dinamo Bucureşti in a race for the top of the table and coming off a highly convincing 2-0 victory over Vaslui this weekend. The attacking group of Marius Onofras, Marius Bilaşco and Bogdan Mara have created the most potent attacking force in Romania and Stadionul Tineretului will be singing in support as they lead their club onto victory
VfL Wolfsburg - Rapid Bucureşti
The Bundesliga club comes to Bucureşti after winning the opening match 1-0. The adjustment to José Peseiro's system has not been easy for Rapid Bucureşti but I expect them to attack at the German clubs defending weaknesses.
