SPL action this weekend

The Scottish Premier League returns with six great matches before the international break. The table is completely wide open with only five points separating Craig Brewster's Caley Thistle and Aberdeen sitting second from the bottom. Every match will have a dramatic impact it what is turning out to be one of the most exciting seasons in years.

Saturday
Hamilton @ Celtic
Inverness Caley Thistle @ Dundee Utd

Hibernian @ Aberdeen
Aberdeen manager Jimmy Calderwood commented to the BBC:

"It is two good teams that aren't playing to their potential right now. Mixu has had to change things about this season with a few new players coming in, similar to what we have had to do. Like Aberdeen, Hibernian is also a big club with high expectations that wants to be at the right end of the table."

"I'm looking for my players to perform as they did last week against Celtic, although we have to cut out those careless mistakes that are killing us big time at the moment.

"If we show the same confidence, quality and determination that was on display against Celtic, we will win on Saturday."

Kilmarnock @ Hearts
Hearts will have Bruno Aguiar back but their infirmary is still packed with Deividas Cesnauskis, Andrew Driver, Adrain Mrowiec, Robbie Neilson and David Obua still out. Kilmarnock will need to come up big as Tynecastle is a fortress for Hearts which they have yet to give a point up this year.

Sunday
Rangers @ St Mirren
Falkirk @ Motherwell
