Louis Saha out five weeks

Everton’s injury problems continue as Louis Saha’s hamstring injury will keep him out an additional five weeks. Via the club’s web-site manager David Moyes said of the often injured French international:

“Louis has been re-scanned and he will be out for another four to five weeks.”

This will put additional pressure on Everton to bring in another striker. With both Milan Jovanović and Henrik Larsson uninterested and the club is investigating loan options. Although they are unlikely to pry Vágner Love from CSKA Moscow’s Vágner Love without a sizable offer they are trying to loan Lokomotiv Moscow’s Peter Odemwingie and Manchester City’s Jô,, who has seen his playing time drop considerably.
